Introduction
The Aziz Merchant (AZM) Bursary is to encourage students to do well and complete their primary school studies.
It aims to assist student’s incidental costs such as buying assessment books, school field trips, tuition fees, buying reading books, school pocket money and school transport. Eligible students will be awarded $500.
Application Criteria
- Students in Primary School Level only;
- Have gross monthly Per Capita Income (PCI) ≤ $650;
- Min. 2 subject passes for Primary 3 to Primary 6 – Score of 45 and above

Please prepare the following documents:
- Applicant’s NRIC (front and back) (as the parent/guardian)
- Birth Certificate of students
- Latest Holistic Report for Primary 1 and Primary 2 students
- Scanned copy of latest report book result for Primary 3 to Primary 6 students
- Approval letter of at least one of these schemes (2021 or 2022):
- MOE’s FAS or MUIS’ PROMAS, or
- MSF’s ComCare, or
- MUIS’ Zakat, or
If approval letter is not available, please provide income documents for the purpose of PCI computation.
- All your household members’ latest income statements / payslips / CPF contribution statement (last 3 months) / Notice of Assessment. If Applicant has MyInfo, Applicant does not need to submit income statement
