Education Trust Fund - Siddiqui Assistance Scheme – Bursary 2025
Introduction
The scheme was introduced in March 2020. It is to support deserving Muslim students, prioritising those from financially disadvantaged families, enrolled in local Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) and Polytechnics. It is to encourage these students to continue to excel in their studies.
Objective
The objective of the bursary is to support financially disadvantaged Muslim students who are pursuing full-time studies at the local ITEs and Polytechnics.
Application Period
Eligibility
ETF – Siddiqui National ITE Certificate (NITEC) Bursary
Muslim Singapore Citizen holding a valid National Registration Identity Card (NRIC);
Pursuing a full-time NITEC programme offered by any of the 3 local ITEs;
Have a gross household per capita income (PCI) of S$750 and below;
Good results for Singapore Cambridge GCE N-Level examinations
ETF – Siddiqui Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) Bursary
Muslim Singapore Citizen holding a valid National Registration Identity Card (NRIC);
Pursuing a full-time Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) offered by any of the 5 local polytechnics;
Have a gross household per capita income (PCI) of S$750 and below;
Good results for Singapore Cambridge GCE N-Level examinations
Conditions
Each applicant needs to submit ONE application only.
We will consider your application for other eligible schemes accordingly.
Duplicate applications will be closed
Applications will only be considered upon receipt of all fully completed required documents.
Incomplete applications will be closed.
Applicant must be accepted by the local institutions mentioned above.
Shortlisting of candidates is based upon competition amongst the eligible applicants.
Being eligible does not guarantee an award.
Interviews will be held for shortlisted candidates and being eligible for the interview does not guarantee an award.
Each Bursary is applicable for ONE Academic Year.
The Bursary shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for other educational activities organised by the institution the recipient is enrolled in.
Recipient must re-apply to be considered for the Bursary in the following academic year, subject to meeting all the criteria.

Front and Back Copy of NRIC of applicant and all family members residing in the same household.
Academic results of applicant– The most recent result transcript clearly stating:
Full Name,
Name of Course & Level and
Subject Score or CGPA.
Proof of student confirmation into Institution clearly stating:
Full Name,
Name of Course and
Start Date.
Family Members’ Particulars Form (Please download the form here: Family Members’ Particulars Form 2025.
All employed working adults in the household to submit latest Payslip or official Letter from Employer stating latest Pay.
Self-employed household members to submit latest Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) Statement of Account.
Unemployed adults in the household to submit latest CPF Contribution Statement.
All relevant Certificate of Marriage, Death Certificate, Divorce Certificate, etc
In 150 words, share your achievements & your goals in the next 5 & 10 yrs in MS Word Format.

Application Procedure
First time applicants must create an account to be able to proceed with the application.
Applications should be submitted via MyMENDAKI portal by clicking the button on the right.
We will be in touch with you within 6 to 8 weeks upon closure of the application window. *
Yayasan MENDAKI’s decision on the outcome of all applications shall be final and not subject to further review or appeal.
