Education Trust Fund - Mohamedally Sithawalla Bursary
Introduction
Introduced in June 2023, the bursary supports deserving Malay/Muslim students, prioritising those from financially disadvantaged families, enrolled in Institutes of Technical Education (ITEs) and Polytechnics. The bursary encourages students to continue excelling in their studies.
Objective
To support financially disadvantaged Malay/Muslim students at ITEs and Polytechnics.

Eligibility
Singapore citizen holding a valid National Registration Identity Card
(NRIC) or Permanent Resident (PR) of Singapore;
Malay/Muslim;
Has achieved good academic results in his/her academic studies and is pursuing/will pursue full-time education in any three (3) local ITEs or five (5) local Polytechnics;
Has a household per capita income (PCI) of S$750 and below;
Not in receipt of any other bursaries.
Conditions
Applications will only be considered upon receipt of all fully completed required documents.
Applicant must be accepted by the local institutions mentioned in clause c above.
Shortlisting of candidates is based upon competition amongst the eligible applicants;
Interviews will be held for shortlisted candidates and being eligible for the interview does not guarantee a placement.
Each Bursary is applicable for one (1) Academic Year.
The Bursary shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for other educational activities organised by the institution the recipient is enrolled in.
Recipient must re-apply to be considered for the Bursary in the following academic year, subject to meeting all the criteria.

Please submit ONE bursary OR scholarship application only. We will consider your application for other eligible schemes accordingly.
Incomplete applications and documents will not be processed.
Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
