Yayasan MENDAKI recognises that the acquisition of knowledge is pivotal in ensuring the continued progress of the community in both academic and non-academic fields. In line with this, MENDAKI organised the inaugural Raikan Ilmu in October 2019. The intent of the Raikan Ilmu is to spark a community movement that embraces and celebrates knowledge through the curation of a month-long series of programmes and celebrations.
We hope to make this year’s Raikan Ilmu 2021, which will be held in October 2021, even more successful. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we firmly believe that the pursuit of knowledge should not stop. In view of this, depending on the Covid-19 situation, we plan to execute most of the programmes online innovatively and/or in smaller groups at different locations to ensure greater outreach and safety of every participant.
Potential partners are invited to participate in Raikan Ilmu 2021 and be part of this year’s movement by offering relevant programmes that meet the objectives of the Raikan Ilmu and implementing the programmes between 1 to 31 October 2021.
The key objective of Raikan Ilmu is to create a movement within the community to embrace lifelong learning as part of our culture. This year's theme is "Seizing Opportunities".
The Raikan Ilmu key messages are as follows:
