Education Trust Fund – Jamae Kalvi Bursary
Introduction
The scheme was introduced in January 2022. It is to support deserving Muslim students, prioritising those from financially disadvantaged families, enrolled in local institutes of technical education (ITE), polytechnics and autonomous universities. It is to encourage these students to continue to excel in their studies.
Objective
To support financially disadvantaged Muslim students at the local ITEs, Polytechnics and Autonomous Universities.
Application Period
For January intake ITE students: 13 January to 3 February 2023
For April intake ITE students: 6 February to 6 March 2023 and 21 March to 10 April 2023
Eligibility
A. ETF – Jamae Kalvi Bursay ITE
- Muslim Singapore Citizen holding a valid National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) or permanent resident (PR) of Singapore;
- Pursuing a full-time ITE programme offered by any local ITE;
- Have a Gross Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of S$750.00 and below;
- Good academic results in his/her course of study
- Not in receipt of any other bursaries
B. ETF – Jamae Kalvi Bursary Polytechnic
- Muslim Singapore Citizen holding a valid National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) or permanent resident (PR) of Singapore;
- Pursuing a full-time Polytechnic programme offered by any local Polytechnic;
- Have a Gross Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of S$650.00 and below;
- Good academic results in his/her course of study
- Not in receipt of any other bursaries

*Incomplete applications and documents will not be processed. Please submit ONE bursary OR scholarship application only. We may consider your application for other eligible schemes.
*Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
