Introduction
The scheme was introduced in 1987. It is applicable for final year Accountancy students in the local autonomous universities in Singapore.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Singapore Muslim Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years.
2. Full-time students only.
3. Passed first and second year-end examinations with a Grade ‘C’ minimum.
4. Applicants must be nominated by their respective institutions. Applicants are required to contact their schools, fill out the nomination form with institution's inputs, and attach the completed form in this application submission. The Head of Accountancy department in any of the following local autonomous universities in Singapore nominates the candidate for this award:
a. National University of Singapore (NUS)
b. Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
c. Singapore Management University (SMU)
d. Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
e. Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD)
f. Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
Conditions
1. Each applicant needs to submit only ONE application to Yayasan MENDAKI to be eligible for all other schemes. Multiple applications from the same applicant will be closed.
2. Applications will only be considered upon receipt of all fully completed required documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
3. Applicant must be a confirmed student of the local institutions mentioned above.
4. Shortlisting of candidates is based upon competition amongst the eligible applicants.
5. Being eligible does not guarantee an award.
6. Interviews may be held for shortlisted candidates and being eligible for the interview does not guarantee an award.
7. The Scholarship shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for other educational activities organised by the institution the recipient is enrolled in.
8. Recipient must re-apply to be considered for the Bursary in the following academic year, subject to meeting all the eligibility criteria.

Mandatory documents required to submit application
1. MENDAKI-ISCA completed Nomination Form (The form can be obtained from your institution).
2. Front and Back Copy of NRIC of applicant and all family members residing in the same household.
3. Applicant’s most recent academic transcript clearly indicating their:
a. Full Name
b. Name of Course & Level
c. Subject Score or CGPA
4. Proof of student confirmation into Institution clearly stating:
a. Full Name,
b. Name of Course
c. Commencement Date.
5. Family Members’ Particulars Form. Please download the form here: Family Members’ Particulars Form 2025.
6. Latest payslip for all employed working adults in the household or official Letter from employer indicating the latest income.
7. Latest Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) Notice of Assessment (NOA) for all self-employed household members.
8. Latest CPF Contribution Statement for all Unemployed adults in the household.
9. All relevant Certificate of Marriage, Death Certificate, Divorce Certificate, etc
10. In 150 words, share your achievements & your goals in the next 5 to 10 yrs in MS Word Format.
11. Other supporting Documents if any.
Application Procedure
1. First time applicants must create an account to be able to proceed with the application.
2. Applications should be submitted via MyMENDAKI portal by clicking the Tab on the right.
3. We will be in touch with you within 6 to 8 weeks upon closure of the application window.
4. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
5. Yayasan MENDAKI’s decision on the outcome of all applications shall be final and not subject to further review or appeal.
