Introduction

 

The scheme was introduced in 1987. It is applicable for final year Accountancy students in the local autonomous universities in Singapore.

Eligibility Criteria

 

  1. Muslim Singapore Citizens (regardless of race) who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years immediately before being admitted to the institution.
  2. Full-time students.
  3. Passed first and second year-end examinations with a Grade ‘C’ minimum.
  4. The Head of Accountancy department in any of the following local autonomous universities in Singapore nominates the candidate for the award: 

     

     

    1. National University of Singapore (NUS)
    2. Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
    3. Singapore Management University (SMU)
    4. Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
    5. Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD) and
    6. Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)

Mandatory documents required to submit application

 

  1. MENDAKI-ISCA Nomination Form (The form can be obtained from your institution).
  2. Front and Back Copy of NRIC of applicant and all family members residing in the same household.
  3. Academic results of applicant– The most recent result transcript clearly stating:

     

     

    1. Full Name,
    2. Name of Course & Level and
    3. Subject Score or CGPA.

     

  4. Proof of student confirmation into Institution clearly stating:

     

     

    1. Full Name,
    2. Name of Course and
    3. Start Date.

     

  5. Family Members’ Particulars Form. Please download the form here: Family Members’ Particulars Form 2025.
  6. All employed working adults in the household to submit latest Payslip or official Letter from Employer stating latest Pay.
  7. Self-employed household members to submit latest Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) Notice of Assessment (NOA).
  8. Unemployed adults in the household to submit latest CPF Contribution Statement.
  9. All relevant Certificate of Marriage, Death Certificate, Divorce Certificate, etc
  10. In 150 words, share your achievements & your goals in the next 5 & 10 yrs in MS Word Format.
  11. Other supporting Documents if any.

 

Application Procedure 

 

  1. First time applicants must create an account to be able to proceed with the application.
  2. Applications should be submitted via MyMENDAKI portal by clicking the Tab on the right.
  3. We will be in touch with you within 6 to 8 weeks upon closure of the application window.
  4. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
  5. Yayasan MENDAKI’s decision on the outcome of all applications shall be final and not subject to further review or appeal.
