Introduction
The MENDAKI-Institution of Engineers Singapore Fund (MENDAKI-IESF) Scholarship scheme was introduced in 1985. Application is by nomination. It is applicable for Engineering students in local Polytechnics and the local autonomous Universities in Singapore.

Eligibility Criteria
Muslim Singapore Citizens (regardless of race) who has been residing in Singapore for at least 5 years immediately before being admitted to
the institution.
University- Full time undergraduates for 2nd to 4th year only, in any of the 6 local Universities:
Polytechnic- Full time 3rd year polytechnic students only, in any of the 5 local Polytechnics:
Temasek Polytechnic (TP).
Passed all year-end examinations with at least a Grade ‘C’ average.
Nominees should not be in receipt of other scholarship or bursary.
Conditions
Each applicant needs to submit ONE application only.
Applications will only be considered upon receipt of all fully completed required documents.
Applicant must be accepted by the local institutions mentioned above.
Shortlisting of candidates is based upon competition amongst the eligible applicants.
Being eligible does not guarantee an award.
Interviews may be held for shortlisted candidates and being eligible for the interview does not guarantee an award.
Each Scholarship is applicable for ONE Academic Year.
The Scholarship shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for other educational activities organised by the institution the recipient is enrolled in.
Recipient must re-apply to be considered for the Scholarship in the following academic year, subject to meeting all the criteria.

All employed working adults in the household to submit latest Payslip or official Letter from Employer stating latest Pay.
Self-employed household members to submit latest Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) Statement of Account.
Unemployed adults in the household to submit latest CPF Contribution Statement.
All relevant Certificate of Marriage, Death Certificate, Divorce Certificate, etc

Application Procedure

Applications should be submitted via MyMENDAKI portal by clicking the Tab on the right.
We will be in touch with you within 6 to 8 weeks upon closure of the application window.
