SCCCF-MENDAKI ETF Scholarship – University 2024
Introduction
The objective of the scholarship is to reward top Malay/Muslim, Singaporeans or PR students who will be pursuing their undergraduate studies in any of the local universities. The scholarship will be used to finance their university fees or cover the living allowances during their term of study.
Application Period *
Eligibility Criteria:
Singapore citizen holding a valid NRIC / PR of Singapore;
Malay/Muslim;
Pursuing full-time education in any of the following local universities in Singapore:
National University of Singapore (NUS);
Nanyang Technological University (NTU);
Singapore Management University (SMU);
Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT);
Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD) and;
Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
Have a household per capita income (PCI) of S$800 and below;
Applicants with good academic results will be given priority. If the results are comparable, then those with a lower PCI shall be given priority.
Applicant must be in the first year of undergraduate study.
Not in receipt of any other bursaries/scholarships.
Service Commitment
Recipients of the scholarship shall attend at least one meeting session and volunteer at events and ceremonies organised by the SCCCI.
Recipients of the scholarship will be offered a complimentary Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) Associate Student Membership and/or SCCCI Scholars’ Network Membership for the year of the Scholarship Award.
Conditions
Applications will only be considered upon receipt of all fully completed required documents;
Applicant must be accepted by the local institutions mentioned in clause No.3 above;
Shortlisting of candidates is based upon competition amongst the eligible applicants;
Interviews may be held for shortlisted candidates;
Each scholarship is applicable for one academic year only;
The scholarship shall be used for the recipients’ educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, living expenses and fees for other educational activities organised by the institution the recipient is enrolled in;
Applicants must re-apply to be considered for the scholarship in the following academic year, subject to meeting all the criteria.

For first year students in ITE, Polytechnic or Universities, please provide official proof of admission into institution of study. Those who do not currently have this can and must provide later nearing the admission of school date preferably before closure of application window to be submitted via the portal;
