Introduction
The Merchant Bursary is to encourage students to do well and complete their primary school studies.
It aims to assist student’s incidental costs such as buying assessment books, school field trips, tuition fees, buying reading books, school pocket money and school transport. Eligible students will be awarded $500.
Application Criteria
1. Primary 3 to Primary 6 students
2. Gross Monthly Per Capita Income (PCI) ≤ $750
3. Good Assessment School result - at least a minimum grade of AL 6 (equivalent to score of 45) or better for at least 2 subjects.
Documents to submit
1. Child's latest 2025 Mid-Year Weighted Assessment results slip (English, Math, Science & Malay)
Processing
- MENDAKI will process and consider all applications.
- Application will take between 2 to 4 weeks to process provided all necessary documents have been submitted.
- MENDAKI reserves the right to:
- reject application which does not meet the eligibility criteria and/or is incomplete
- request for additional supporting documents.
