Eligibility Criteria

1. Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR).
2. Registered in the MOE Volunteer Registration Portal. (https://go.gov.sg/volunteer-reg)
3. Have a minimum grade of O-Level B4 or above for the subjects they wish to teach; exception of obtaining Grade of O-Level C5 and above for NIE-Trainee
4. Have/be one of the following:
   1. A Diploma from a local polytechnic or other recognized institutions.
   2. A degree from a recognized institution (e.g. NUS/NTU/SMU/SUTD/SIT/SUSS/others)
   3. Undergraduate in a recognized institution (e.g. NUS/NTU/SMU/SUTD/SIT/SUSS or others) and have completed the A-Levels or a diploma programme.

Available Options
Please choose the option which suits you the most.

1. Permanent Tutor (must commit to teach classes for a 32-week schedule).
2. Relief Tutor (if you cannot commit to the 32-week schedule).
3. Head Tutor (HT) (please refer to the eligibility given below).

Eligibility Criteria to be a HT
On top of all the requirements to be a Tutor, a HT should:

• Preferably be NIE-Trained
• Have prior leadership experience
• Have strong administrative skills
• Have good communication skills

Applicants need to submit the following documents.

• NRIC (front and back) (not needed with MyInfo)
• Recent passport photograph
• Application outcome email from MOE for Volunteer Registration
• Educational certificates
  • GCE O-Level Certificate (if you had sat for the O-Levels) (not needed with Myinfo)
  • GCE A-Level Certificate (if you had sat for the A-Levels) (not needed with Myinfo)
  • Diploma Certificate and Transcript (if you had completed a diploma programme)
  • Degree Certificate and Transcript (if you had completed a degree programme)
  • Post-graduate (Masters/PhD) Certificate and Transcript (if any)
  • NIE Certificate and Transcript (if you are NIE-Trained)
  • Matriculation card (if you are an undergraduate)
